Mission data:

On November 3, 1893, the ship Cabo Machichaco arrived at the port of Santander.

It was a coastal vessel carrying passengers and 1616 tons of general cargo, including 43,000 kilograms of dynamite. Early in the morning, a bottle of sulfuric acid on deck broke, causing a fire on the ship.

An escape room in Santander to uncover the history behind Spain’s largest non-natural disaster. Follow the clues from Jose María de Pereda, Concha Espina, José del Río, or Doctor Madrazo, and protect some young beachcombers before it’s too late! You’ll journey through the center of Santander, passing emblematic places like Plaza Porticada, Paseo de Pereda, or the Paseo Marítimo.

What are you waiting for to lend a hand to these children and save them from the explosion?
